I'm April. I live with Ankylosing Spondylitis, Fibromyalgia, migraines, and anxiety. I went undiagnosed for many years, feeling like I was crazy. I knew something was wrong, more than โjust being a womanโ, but felt like no one was really listening to me. I was finally diagnosed at the age of 44 and began to get medical help for my diagnosis. It was a relief to finally feel seen and heard.
I recently felt a push from God to start The Invisible Illness Club as a way to help encourage and bring practical ideas to other women struggling with similar chronic illnesses. I know what it feels like to feel so alone, and no one should have to feel that way, that's why I started this community.
